12 YEARS OF RAVE

best of both worlds
Claude Von Stroke - Who's Afraid of Detroit (Stanton Warriors Remix)

The Guvernment complex in Toronto celebrated its 12th anniversary of catering to top notch worldwide DJ's and all-night party goers with a Thanksgiving Long weekend bash. I must say it was quite a hoot and a half. It kind of freaks me out I've been having fun there for the past seven years. Well whatever, big that up.

Love to ya boy MUTT for hooking it up - shouts to Dieselboy for playing the MASSIVE Messiah remix - and love to Jen & Toby, just cause they're that great.

I'm a fan of Stanton Warriors. I'm also a jackass for forgetting they were playing the next room over from where I was!!

LOOK AT THOSE LEATHER LEGGINGS (I've yet to purchase a pair of any sort of legging - I figure I'll start with a pair similar to these.)

Robin Thicke

Ever since the release of Wanna Love You Girl with Pharrell, I've had such a fangirl crush (one of my many) on Mr. Robin Thicke. Yes, the son of famous Canadian Allan Thicke of Growing Pains!

Turns out REMG will be bringing him down on the 6th of October at the Kool Haus in Toronto. Perfect timing as it will be my post-birthday celebration. Come whoever pleases *blushes*

THIS AIN'T NO JOHN B ELECTRO DNB B.S.!

Many thanks to NROTB for providing me with the name of THEE tune of this past Friday night. NO! It was not located at the private eTalk party that I, Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan were located at, but at Circa!!
Oh yeah, boo, I left before Lindsay showed.

Five Decades of Loveliness

"1963 and it all kicks off....

This season, Ben Sherman asked British Designers PPQ, notorious for beautiful dresses, to create a range to illustrate & revive musical style. The collection consists of 5 dresses, one for each era, which instantly gives the 'decade' an identity.

Londontown in about 36 hours

The next ten days will be exhilarating, invigorating, breathtaking, electrifying, overwhelming, rousing, sensational, stimulating, titillating, wild and to say the least, zestful. I will do all, see all, be all I can be. It may get a tad bit out of hand, but only trouble comes with the letters l.i.v.s.+.l.e.s.l.i.e,
innit?

Hoping I'll get to catch the last of the action from Fashion Week...

It will go a bit like this:

What do Boot Camp Clik and Snakes on a mother fuckin' Plane have in common? Just another one of my Saturday nights in Toronto ...DUH

I'm quite upset that I missed their show last Saturday evening. But the night did result in a most satisfying one that included the pleasures of ice cream eating and shitty (BUT amusing!) movie watching, all courtesy of Ms Gatto.

Moving on, here's a blast to your mid 90's baggy pant wearing past, when hip hop was at its peak (whatever the fuck you want that to mean)
