la Parisienne idéal

Finally found that photo from Mr. Sartorialist...

Fancy those shoulders, because I most definitely do.

my oxford infatuation continues

Today marked the first day of Spring here in Toronto! As we head into this new season, we expect longer days, sunshine and more smiles. We leave behind long nights (though they were quite fun), dreary days and most importantly ruined shoes due to salt stains and slush!

Here I present to you the Sergio Rossi Oxford Lace Ups I plan to soon purchase (for quite a lovely deal too!) These babies stuck out to me so much one day last October, while cruising The Sartorialist, I had to blog about the woman wearing them.

I deem these my rays of sunshine and welcoming into spring.

As Karl Lagerfeld says, "Buy what excites you, not just for the simple act of shopping."

London's win with me was Louise Goldin's F09 line. Stunningly Dark.

a twist on dementia

Launched in tandem with Gareth Pugh's show during Paris Fashion Week, this film created in collaboration with Ruth Hogben, showcases the designer's Autmn/Winter 2009 collection.

my review?
frantic, intense, emotionally contesting.
deep, dark, INVIGORATING and INSPIRING.

Talk about a film evoking loads of fashionable emotion.
